Mistress of the Underworld
For just how long had she be walking around this town? An hour? Two? In reality it only been a half hour since the fairy went on the search for a certain acquaintance of her’s. She’s the only competent enough to handle this. The woman owed her one, anyway.
It’s weird how only a few hours ago Rhoslywn had been enjoying her life as woman—a fully-fledged, adult woman. Running her brothel without care in the world, then she decided to go out for a small walk. For no reason at all, but just to get some fresh air, then, THEN she ran into that stupid as fuck prophet. Who offered to read her future. she, of course, humored her. But, oh no, this wasn’t any ordinary fortune teller. This was a fortune teller who decided it would be fun to mess up her life. Next thing she knew she was covered in blue smoke, and transformed into this.
Now here she is, wondering this town at night, wearing a black hood and a handkerchief around her mouth. Just so people wouldn’t see how stupid she looks. Though she still looks rather stupid with all of that stuff on. Rhoslywn began to angrily kick a stray rock that was on the path she was walking on; mumbling to herself.”How could she do that to me? What right did she have to curse me like this?” The fairy glared down at the rock and gave it a hard enough kick to send it flying, and into a large…black thing?
Wait.
That was a dragon.
Oh.
Wait.
That was her dragon.
“OH.”
Rhoslywn grinned underneath her handkerchief. Actually somewhat happy after everything that transpired today.
“Aha! Finally found you!”
Volos gave out a small snort as the rock made contact with his scales. He looked to the sides, then up, thinking maybe something fell on him. He turned around and spotted the child, his snout nudging at the woman’s shoulder for her attention. “I told you to watch the horns—” Volos’ chest rumbled as he motioned his head to the girls direction. The dragon obviously knew who the child was, the scent was the same. As for Sarii…
Sarii turned her head towards the kid. “…aaah what do you need, child?” Something about this kid seems…familiar some how. “lose your parents?” She stood up and made her way towards the child. Volos followed behind, emitting a low rumbling noise; he was purring, or that’s what Sarii called it anyway. Not sure if dragons purred.
Well Volos seems to know who the kid is, but I’ve never seen her before. Or so she thought. “…what can I help you with?” I feel like I’ve met her somewhere before…
